High-Density 12G-SDI Signal Distribution

The Evertz 7800DA8-12G is a broadcast-grade 1x8 reclocking distribution amplifier designed to handle high-bandwidth digital video routing, including single-link 12G-SDI (SMPTE ST 2082-1) Ultra HD (UHD) standards. Engineered for master control, production trucks, post-production, and live distribution racks, the module splits one SDI input into eight independently isolated outputs without compromising signal quality or adding latency.

Automatic Equalization and Precision Reclocking

To maintain signal fidelity across long cable runs, the 7800DA8-12G incorporates high-performance automatic input cable equalization. Upon receiving the signal, the card automatically detects the incoming video standard and applies precision reclocking to remove accumulated jitter, restore signal slope, and re-shape digital pulses. This ensures that all eight outputs deliver clean, spec-compliant digital video streams suitable for downstream processing and distribution.

Modular Frame Integration & SNMP Management

Designed as part of the flagship Evertz modular platform, the card installs easily into the 3RU 7800FR or 1RU 7801FR frames. When operated alongside an Evertz 7700FC, 7800FC, or 7801FC Frame Controller module, the 7800DA8-12G gains full SNMP capability. Engineering teams can monitor input carrier status, standard locks, and module health remotely using Evertz VistaLINK® network management software or physical control panels including the VUE-CP232 and VUE-TOUCH2-12R.
