High-Performance Distribution with Broadcast Intelligence

The Evertz 7800IDA8-3G is a 3G/HD/SD-SDI reclocking distribution amplifier engineered for broadcast facilities, production trucks, and playout centers. Going beyond standard signal splitting, the card combines robust signal conditioning with active video and audio health monitoring. Its long-reach input equalization restores degraded digital video signals across extended coaxial runs, feeding eight clean, reclocked outputs via space-saving Mini-DIN 1.0/2.3 connections.

Optional Advanced DSP & Audio Processing

Unlike traditional passive or basic active distribution amplifiers, the 7800IDA8-3G can be equipped with advanced audio processing options. Broadcast operators can add mono audio channel shuffling, stereo-to-5.1 surround upmixing (+UMX), 5.1 downmixing (+DMX), or award-winning IntelliGain® loudness control (+IG) to prevent commercial volume spikes. For multi-path facilities subject to variable video latency, the IntelliTrak™ option (+IT) automatically maintains accurate lip-sync alignment.

High-Density Modular Integration

Occupying a single slot in Evertz modular enclosures, up to 14 cards can be installed in a single 3RU frame (7800FR) for maximum output density. Complete module setup, signal status reporting, and automated SNMP trap management are handled centrally through a 7700FC or 7800FC frame controller using Evertz VistaLINK® network management software.
