The Evertz 7800IDA8-3G-F is an advanced 1x8 reclocking distribution amplifier engineered for long-distance broadcast transmission, campus transport, and high-density master control routing. Combining multi-rate SDI equalization with an integrated optical SFP expansion slot, it simultaneously drives eight coaxial connections and two long-haul fiber optic lines from a single video source.

Flexible Optical Transport & Cable Recovery

Designed to overcome long cable run limitations in broadcast infrastructure:

Optical Extension: Equipped with an SFP slot on the rear panel that accepts an optional dual-transmitting optical SFP module (1310nm LC/UPC connectors), driving two identical optical copies (-2dBm nominal power) alongside the coax outputs.
Adaptive Input Equalization: Multi-stage equalization recovers heavily attenuated signals across coaxial runs up to 100 meters at 3G-SDI, 140 meters at HD-SDI, and 350 meters at SD-SDI bitrates.
Pristine Reclocking: Reclocks incoming streams to minimize output jitter (<0.20 UI) and maintain signal integrity across downstream production equipment.

Network Supervision & High-Density Modular Deployment

Integrated into the Evertz 7800 modular ecosystem, the 7800IDA8-3G-F occupies a single slot across 3RU 7800FR (up to 14 cards), 1RU 7801FR (up to 4 cards), or 3RU 350FR portable enclosures. Full compatibility with the 7800FC Frame Controller allows centralized SNMP management, real-time signal health telemetry, and automated fault reporting in VistaLINK® NMS environments.
