High-Performance Signal Distribution with Built-in Intelligence

The Evertz 7800IDA8-3G reclocking distribution amplifier is designed for high-density broadcast facilities, production trucks, and playout centers requiring reliable signal distribution across long coaxial runs. Going beyond standard distribution amplifiers, the card combines robust adaptive equalization and reclocking with active video and audio health auditing to safeguard overall signal integrity.

Advanced Optional Audio Processing & Lip-Sync Alignment

Unlike traditional passive or basic active DAs, the 7800IDA8 series can be expanded with dedicated audio processing features. Operators can license embedded mono audio channel shuffling, stereo-to-5.1 surround upmixing (+UMX), or 5.1-to-stereo downmixing (+DMX). Additionally, Evertz' patented IntelliGain® loudness control (+IG) normalizes volume variations across commercial transitions, while IntelliTrak™ lip-sync control (+IT) automatically corrects audio/video delay offsets.

High-Density Modular Enclosure Support

Occupying a single slot, up to 14 modules can be installed within a single 3RU 7800FR frame to maximize output density. Centralized configuration, status monitoring, and automated alarm reporting are managed via SNMP using the 7700FC or 7800FC frame controller and Evertz VistaLINK® network management software.
