Next-Generation UHD Broadcast Processing & Conversion

The Evertz 7814UDX-4K series is a high-density, broadcast-quality conversion platform designed to bridge HD, 3G, and 12G/UHD production environments. Built for dual-slot installation in Evertz 7800FR (3RU) and 7801FR (1RU) frames, the card supports up, down, and cross-conversion across HD-SDI (SMPTE ST 292M), 3G-SDI (SMPTE ST 424M), and 12G-SDI (SMPTE ST 2082) signals. The card natively manages both Square Division Quad-Split (SQD) and Two-Sample Interleave (2sI) 4K formats, ensuring complete compatibility across legacy and modern 4K production hardware.

High-Precision HDR Transformation & Color Correction

Equipped with optional +HDR and +VPROC software licenses, the 7814UDX-4K series provides low-latency, LUT-based HDR/SDR conversions and color space transformations. Operators can convert dynamically between BT.709, BT.2020, and S.Gamut3 gamuts while translating HDR transfer functions including HLG, SMPTE ST 2084 (PQ), and Sony S-Log3. Integrated broadcast-quality color correctors, detail enhancement engines, and RGB color legalizers allow real-time parameter adjustments to meet strict transmission standards.

Audio DSP, 12G Transport & System Control

The card transparently routes 16 channels of embedded audio, automatically adjusting audio delay to track video timing and maintain lip-sync alignment. Optional discrete AES I/O (-AES8) adds 8 external AES inputs and outputs per path. Signal transport options include dual 12G-SDI SFP modules (-12G) for fiber/coax transmission or an HD-BNC rear plate (-12G-HDBNC-R). Remote control, monitoring, and parameter configuration are executed via VistaLINK® SNMP or VUE control panels when paired with a 7800FC or 7801FC frame controller.
