Designed to meet strict FCC regulatory compliance standards, the 7825CCE-3G processes multi-rate serial digital video up to 3Gb/s, offering simultaneous dual-path caption insertion and cross-format translation in a single modular card.

Multi-Interface Connectivity & Smart Caption Bridging

Whether bridging legacy analog caption feeds or routing IP-based steno streams, the 7825CCE-3G handles multiple communication standards:

Diverse Connection Types: Supports direct Ethernet TCP/IP streaming, RS-232/422 serial data, dial-up telephone modems, and opto-isolated GPI inputs.
Port Echo & Daisy-Chaining: Serial port echo functionality allows multiple caption encoders to be daisy-chained together from a single modem or IP link.
CEA-608 / CEA-708 Bridging: Automatically translates incoming Line 21 CEA-608 captions into CEA-708 VANC metadata for HD/3G streams, or transcodes CEA-708 VANC data back down to standard CEA-608 Line 21 for SD downstream paths.

High-Density Modular Chassis Integration

Occupying two card slots, the 7825CCE-3G integrates into the Evertz 7800 series ecosystem, including the 1RU 7801FR (holds up to 2 units), 3RU 7800FR (holds up to 7 units), 350FR portable chassis, or standalone desktop enclosures (requires 7800FC frame controller for full setup).
