Designed for broadcast networks, master control rooms, and live event production, this dual-slot module eliminates the cost and complexity of legacy analog phone couplers by delivering a direct, low-latency mono or stereo audio feed to remote captioners over standard IP networks.

Low-Bandwidth Streaming & Advanced VANC Processing

Operating via IETF RFC 3550 RTP protocols with ITU G.711 A-law encoding, the 7825CCE-AUD-3G streams program audio at under 65 kbps, with built-in silence suppression to conserve network bandwidth. Simultaneously, the encoder manages comprehensive VANC metadata, including Active Format Description (AFD) flags, Broadcast Flags, and Extended Data Services (XDS including V-Chip ratings, CGMS-A, and TSID).

Comprehensive Monitoring & File Storage Workflows

Equipped with an integrated caption decoder, the 7825CCE-AUD-3G provides on-screen display (OSD) confidence monitoring directly on preview video outputs. When equipped with the +CF CompactFlash option, station operators can archive active broadcast captions for editing and compliance verification, or automate playback of pre-authored caption files directly to air via FTP network commands.
