High-Density Dual-Path Processing & Synchronization

The Evertz 7847FSEDA series integrates frame synchronization, extensive audio processing, distribution amplification, and optical/electrical conversion into a single dual-slot 7800-series module. By accommodating two fully independent processing channels on a single card, it enables up to 14 processing paths in a 3RU 7800FR chassis—drastically reducing rack footprint, cabling complexity, and power requirements for broadcast facilities, OB trucks, and live production environments.

Modular Fiber Transport & Failover Routing

Featuring standard high-density DIN 1.0/2.3 coaxial connectors (HDBNC optional) alongside pluggable SFP transceiver cages, the 7847FSEDA offers total I/O agility. Input sources can be dynamically selected via software between coaxial and SFP inputs, with configurable automatic failover on loss of video. On the output side, signals are simultaneously routed to six coaxial outputs and four SFP optical/coaxial outputs per path.

Professional Audio Management & Modular Upgrades

The onboard audio processor handles up to 16 channels of embedded audio per path with granular routing, gain, and delay management. Optional software keys expand capabilities to include IntelliGain® II automated loudness control (+IG2 option), stereo-to-5.1 up-mixing (+UMX2 option), and SCTE104 digital cue message insertion over IP (+SCTE104-2 option).
