High-Density Dual-Path Architecture

The Evertz 7847FSEDA series combines frame synchronization, advanced audio processing, distribution amplification, and optical/electrical conversion into a compact dual-slot card. Designed for high-density broadcast facilities, OB vans, and live production racks, each module accommodates two completely independent video paths—enabling up to 14 channels of sync and DA processing in a single 3RU 7800FR chassis.

Flexible I/O Routing & Fiber Transport

Outfitted with mini DIN 1.0/2.3 coaxial connectors (HDBNC optional) and standard SFP transceiver cages, the 7847FSEDA provides unmatched routing versatility. Inputs can be manually assigned or set to auto-failover between coaxial and SFP optical inputs upon video loss. On the output side, processed signals are routed concurrently across coaxial distributions and up to 4 optical SFP output ports per path.

Comprehensive Audio Management & Software Upgrades

Each processing path manages up to 16 embedded audio channels with granular shuffling, delay, gain, and down-mixing capability. Optional software licenses further unlock IntelliGain® II automated audio loudness control (+IG2 option), stereo-to-5.1 up-mixing (+UMX2 option), and SCTE104 digital cue message insertion over IP (+SCTE104-2 option).
