Capable of analyzing up to 32 transport streams concurrently, the card isolates video compression faults from IP network delivery issues—allowing broadcast engineers and service providers to troubleshoot problems rapidly and eliminate viewer-facing downtime.

Comprehensive TR 101 290 & Buffer Analysis

Engineered for detailed compliance verification, the 7881TSM-IP evaluates MPEG-2, H.264, and HEVC streams against strict broadcast standards:

TR 101 290 Monitoring: Performs full Priority 1 (sync, PAT, PMT, continuity counter), Priority 2 (transport errors, CRC, PCR accuracy/repetition, PTS), and Priority 3 (DVB NIT/SDT/EIT and ATSC MGT/VCT/STT) error logging.
Stream & PID Telemetry: Measures individual PID and TS bitrates from 100 kbps up to 200 Mbps, verifies TSID assignments against pre-defined templates, and renders a dynamic PID tree view detailing codecs, resolutions, and audio sampling rates.
T-STD Buffer Analysis: Performs real-time Target System Decoder (T-STD) buffer analysis to detect underruns and overruns before they cause video artifacts.

Network Layer Diagnostics & Event Capture

With 3x 1GbE RJ-45 ports and a 1GbE SFP slot, the 7881TSM-IP inspects transport streams wrapped in UDP/IP wrappers.
