Flexible Dynamic LCD Button Architecture

The Evertz CP-1000E is a highly adaptable 1RU router control panel engineered for broadcast environments requiring frequent source and destination reconfigurations, such as Outside Broadcast (OB) trucks, production studios, and master control suites. Utilizing 16 dynamic LCD buttons with configurable menu-driven navigation, the CP-1000E delivers up to 256 virtual button states, providing comprehensive system control within a minimal rack space.

Intuitive Visual Feedback & Menu Navigation

Designed for fast-paced live production, each button display features a 32x24 dot-matrix canvas that renders up to three rows of five characters or dynamic graphic icons. Multi-color backlight illumination in red, green, or yellow provides operators with instant status indication for active routes, breakaway audio/video selections, and system locks. When a menu button is pressed, the panel dynamically re-maps button legends and functions to navigate sub-menus and system layers instantly.

Dual Connectivity & Versatile Interface Options

The CP-1000E integrates seamlessly into both legacy and modern broadcast infrastructure. It connects directly to legacy Evertz routing matrices using standard 75Ω Qlink coaxial cables or interfaces over IP to the central Evertz MAGNUM router control platform via Ethernet. Additionally, a dedicated D9 connector accepts eight parallel GPI contact closures for camera joystick override functionality.
