Intelligent Loudness Management

Evertz IntelliGain® is a patented hardware/software audio processing engine designed to solve the long-standing industry challenge of loudness variations between programs, commercials, and channel changes. Utilizing multi-minute time coefficient monitoring, IntelliGain® tracks long-term audio trends to smooth out volume spikes up to 17dB while preserving natural program dynamics and voice clarity.

Dynamic Range Processing & Compander

In addition to long-term loudness leveling, IntelliGain® incorporates an onboard professional compander (compressor, peak limiter, and expander). Facility engineers can set custom processing profiles based on content type, preventing over-compression while enforcing strict peak compliance for ATSC A/85, EBU R128, and CALM Act regulations.

Ecosystem Integration

IntelliGain® can be factory-equipped or licensed as an add-on option (+IG / +IG2) across a wide range of Evertz modular products, including 7800/7700 series frame synchronizers, audio embedders/de-embedders, and protection switches.
