The Evertz MIO-IP-CCE is a software-defined caption encoding, conversion, and processing engine that runs on the high-performance MIO-CPU hardware platform. Engineered for high-density broadcast facilities, edge processing hubs, and live event production, the MIO-IP-CCE bridges the gap between traditional SDI infrastructures and uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110 IP media networks.

Designed to simplify multi-region content delivery, the MIO-IP-CCE provides a complete set of caption manipulation features:

Multi-Standard Translation: Performs bi-directional conversion between CEA-608/CEA-708 VANC metadata and European World System Teletext (WST OP42/OP47) subtitling.
Channel & Page Remapping: The intuitive evEDGE-CCE-SHFL Shuffle Management UI allows station engineers to map, re-channel, pass through, or up-convert caption data on the fly.
Live Ingest & Open Captions: Ingests live steno streams via CTRL-A and NEWFOR protocols, with optional on-screen open caption burn-in for monitoring and QA setups.

Robust Network Management & Monitoring

Featuring a browser-based WebGUI, the MIO-IP-CCE provides complete control over internal crosspoint routing, firmware licensing, and diagnostics. For rapid QA and troubleshooting, the module includes RTP stream monitoring and built-in test pattern generators alongside optional proxy A/V streaming for remote steno-captioners.
