Hybrid Baseband & IP Test Generator

The Evertz MIO-TG is a virtualized, microservice-based test signal generator designed to support SDI, IP, and hybrid broadcast facilities. Occupying a dual-slot MIO form factor within Evertz SCORPION chassis, the MIO-TG simultaneously generates up to 4 independent test signals across baseband HD/3G/12G-SDI connectors and uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110 IP streams with ST 2022-7 seamless hitless redundancy.

Custom Patterns & Multichannel Audio Test Signals

Engineered for rapid facility setup, signal path verification, and quality assurance:

  • Custom Graphics & Overlays: Supports up to 16 user-loadable PNG test patterns alongside standard YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit patterns. Features user-defined 2-line text ID overlays and selectable burn-in timecode for easy channel identification across control room monitors.
  • Flexible Audio Generation: Broadcasts up to 16 independent audio tones per video signal path via ST 2110-30 (Levels A and B) or embedded SDI audio, complete with customizable per-channel frequency and level controls.
  • Broad Format Range: Generates standard frame rates from 720p and 1080i up to 1080p and 2160p (at 23.98 through 60 fps).
