Supporting up to 128 input sockets and 128 output sockets, the platform allows broadcast operators to ingest, filter, groom, and multiplex pre-encoded Single Program Transport Streams (SPTS) and Multiple Program Transport Streams (MPTS) into bandwidth-optimized output streams ready for linear distribution.

Advanced Stream Protection, Bitrate Limiting, and Table Generation

Built for strict signal integrity and broadcast compliance, the MUXIP-10GE engine incorporates robust stream management tools:

Per-Program Bitrate Limiting: Restricts individual stream bandwidth spikes to prevent input bursts from corrupting shared output multiplexes.
DVB/ATSC Table Generation: Automatically constructs and updates critical system information tables (PSI/SI and PSIP) for accurate receiver tuning and program guide population.
In-Band Metadata Insertion: Enables direct injection of custom metadata into private PIDs, enabling downstream automated actions such as firmware updates or data tagging.
