The Evertz MViP-II-DPX4 is an enterprise-grade multi-image display and signal monitoring engine designed for digital headends, IPTV operators, OTT distribution hubs, and broadcast facilities. Expanding the renowned MViP-II family into 10GbE IP infrastructures, this 2RU platform processes a versatile mix of video formats—from legacy MPEG-2 to high-efficiency HEVC and uncompressed JPEG 2000—delivering real-time multi-screen monitoring across up to four 4K UHD screens.

Comprehensive IP Transport & Codec Compatibility

Engineered to handle diverse transmission workflows, the MViP-II-DPX4 supports all major streaming protocols used across contribution, distribution, and OTT delivery. Whether ingesting reliable transport protocols like SRT and RIST, compressed unicast/multicast streams (MPTS/SPTS), or adaptive bit-rate OTT streams (HLS, MPEG-DASH), the system ensures seamless decoding and signal verification across all inputs. Optional RF and ASI input expansion is also available via Evertz 7780DM and 7880IP series modules.

Automated Signal Fault Auditing & Enterprise Management

Beyond multi-image tile rendering, the MViP-II-DPX4 acts as an automated 24/7 signal analyzer. It continuously evaluates video integrity (black screen, frozen frame, macroblocking), audio parameters (loudness, over/under levels, Dolby E decoding), and transport stream health (TR 101 290 P1/P2, bandwidth high/low, SCTE-35 triggers). Managed via a modern WebRTC interface or integrated directly into Evertz MAGNUM-NMS, the processor enables dynamic "Penalty Box" workflows to immediately flag compromised streams for operators.
