The Evertz SCORPION-4 is a standalone, fanless media processing gateway designed for live remote production and sports broadcasting. Acting as a multi-service aggregation hub, the unit transports baseband video, audio, and control data over dark fiber or high-speed IP WAN networks.

Flexible MIO Module Architecture

The SCORPION-4 accommodates up to 4 Evertz Modular Input Output (MIO) cards to match specific field setups:

IP Edge Conversion: Encapsulates 12G-SDI, HDMI, and digital audio into SMPTE ST 2110 or ST 2022-6 streams over dual 10GbE or 25GbE optical trunks.
Network Topology: Connects seamlessly with SCORPION-X18 1RU frames to form point-to-point, ring, or hub-and-spoke transport networks.
Diagnostics & Control: Onboard link analysis tracks signal integrity, while native VistaLINK PRO and web interfaces deliver real-time control.
