The Evertz sVIP is a high-density multi-image display and signal analysis platform designed for modern IP broadcast facilities, live production centers, OB trucks, and playout hubs. Leveraging a hybrid FPGA and CPU hardware-accelerated processing engine, the sVIP delivers enterprise-grade density on standard datacenter class servers—allowing media companies to deploy scalable monitoring solutions either on-premise or in off-premise cloud environments.

Unmatched Hybrid Ingest & Multi-Screen Processing

Building on Evertz' industry-leading multi-image display architecture, the sVIP bridges uncompressed and compressed IP media workflows. A single 2RU platform can simultaneously ingest up to 64x 1080p60 uncompressed SMPTE ST 2110/ST 2022-6 video streams alongside 88x compressed streams (including low-latency JPEG XS and HEVC). With up to 128 Picture-in-Picture (PIP) tiles per display layout, operators can monitor complex signal networks across quad UHD or octal HD mosaic displays.

Complete Signal Audit & Penalty Box Automation

The sVIP acts as a 24/7 intelligent signal analyzer across all network, transport, video, audio, and metadata layers. It continuously checks for stream impairments (RTP sequence loss, IAT jitter), video faults (black, freeze, active picture loss), audio issues (loudness LKFS, mute), and metadata compliance (closed captions, OP-47, SCTE 35/104 triggers). When integrated with Evertz MAGNUM orchestration, the sVIP enables automated "Monitoring-by-Exception" (Penalty Box) workflows to dynamically flag compromised feeds on main control displays.
