Product Overview +
Fiber-Based Remote Connectivity
The FIM-4W2 is a compact optical fiber interface designed to extend digital matrix intercom systems over long distances. It allows one or two user panels, interface modules, or 4-wire audio sources to be remotely connected using fiber, ensuring stable and high-quality communication.
Flexible System Integration
This interface supports integration with Eclipse, Eclipse HX, and Matrix +3 intercom systems. By using a pair of FIM-S222 units, it enables seamless communication between matrix frames and remote panels, making it ideal for distributed setups.
High-Quality Audio Performance
The FIM-4W2 delivers professional-grade audio with 24-bit digital DEMUX and a 48 kHz sampling rate. It ensures clear sound with low distortion, wide frequency response, and excellent signal-to-noise ratio for reliable communication.
Data and Signal Extension
In addition to audio, the unit supports RS-422 control data transmission. It can also extend line-level 4-wire audio signals and RS-422 signals over fiber, making it a versatile solution for complex communication systems.
Compact and Efficient Design
With its compact form factor, the FIM-4W2 is easy to install in various environments. It includes RJ45 connectors for direct connection to panels and systems, reducing setup complexity.
