Ultra-Compact, Cost-Effective Titling Solution

The FOR-A CG-Portable series (CG-Portable and CG-Portable-A) provides live broadcast, corporate, education, and digital signage setups with an affordable, standalone character generator. Housed in a compact hardware chassis, these simple titlers overlay professional graphics, multi-lingual text, and channel logos onto live HD-SDI video streams without requiring complex PC infrastructure.

Multi-Layer Graphics & Flexible Video Mixing

Equipped with a frame buffer capable of storing over 70 graphic frames, the CG-Portable displays static PNG logos, full-motion animations, and IMAG graphics. Two independent text overlay generators run simultaneous horizontal text crawls, vertical credit rolls, or fixed lower-thirds across multi-language character sets. Operators can select between internal mixing (overlaying graphics directly onto the SDI incoming video) or dual Fill and Key output modes for integration with video production switchers.

Hardware Connectivity & Cross-Conversion

While both units feature 3G/HD-SDI inputs, the CG-Portable-A adds enhanced output versatility with parallel 3G/HD-SDI and HDMI outputs. This enables built-in 3G/HD-SDI to HDMI signal conversion for direct connection to low-cost HDMI monitors or projectors. Additionally, external reference genlock input ensures frame-accurate sync, and automatic power-on memory reloads the active graphics page instantly after a system reboot.
