Enterprise 4K UHD & Multi-Channel HD Downstream Keying

The FOR-A DSK-400 is a high-density 4K/HD downstream keyer designed for broadcast master control, live graphics insertion, channel branding, and OB production vehicles. Housed in a robust chassis, the DSK-400 operates in either 4K UHD mode (supporting Quad-link 3G-SDI 2SI/Square Division) or HD mode, where it can function as four independent, full-featured downstream keyers within a single system.

Advanced Keying, Still Stores & Down-Conversion

Equipped with advanced Linear, Luminance, Box Mix, Key Invert, Gain, and Transparency controls, the DSK-400 allows seamless compositing over live background feeds. Internal Frame Synchronizers and Input Still Stores on all FILL and KEY inputs eliminate the need for external time-base correctors when inserting logos, lower-thirds, or emergency tickers. For legacy monitoring setups, the unit provides a dedicated 1080p HD down-converted output from incoming 4K program feeds.

Redundant Architecture & Unified Switcher Integration

Designed for continuous 24/7 broadcast operations, the DSK-400 features a standard passive hardware bypass relay to protect program output during power loss, alongside an optional DSK-400PSM redundant power supply. Broadcast engineers can manage the keyer via an intuitive web interface, RS-422 serial commands, or integrate it directly into existing production workflows using FOR-A HVS-100OU control panels or DSK-RU remote control hardware.
