Dual-Channel Signal Processing Toolbox
The FOR-A FA-9520 is a 2-channel multi-purpose signal processor engineered to replace multiple single-function units in master control rooms, mobile production trucks, live events, and post-production suites. Based on FOR-A's flagship FA-9500 architecture, the FA-9520 provides two completely independent processing paths in a compact 1U rackmount chassis. Each channel operates autonomously as a high-performance frame synchronizer, up/down/cross/aspect converter, and full-featured broadcast color corrector.
Multi-Format Versatility & Video Optimization
Equipped to bridge legacy and modern production environments, the FA-9520 handles mixed signal workflows with 3G-SDI, HD/SD-SDI, and analog composite video inputs and outputs. Its standard Automatic Video Optimizer (AVO) constantly analyzes incoming signal parameters to correct improper luminance and color balance without operator intervention. Integrated HD/SD closed caption conversion guarantees regulatory subtitle continuity when upconverting or downconverting live feeds.
Flexible Audio Handling & IP Management
In addition to video processing, the FA-9520 includes digital and analog audio I/O capabilities for embedded SDI, AES/EBU, and balanced analog audio lines. Audio signals can be remapped, gain-adjusted, phase-inverted, and delayed to achieve lip-sync alignment across both channels. An intuitive built-in Web GUI simplifies set-up and daily operation, enabling web-browser-based remote administration without requiring proprietary software installs.
