To safeguard video streams over unpredictable networks, the unit integrates robust Pro-MPEG Forward Error Correction (FEC) and Packet Retransmission (ARQ) mechanisms, guaranteeing uninterrupted playback over public or private networks.
Flexible Audio, Control, & Utility Features
The IP-920 includes balanced analog audio interfaces alongside embedded digital audio support for versatile sound management. It offers dual-encoder capability to simultaneously output high-bitrate archival streams and low-bitrate distribution feeds. Additional features include RS-232C serial data pass-through, text and timestamp superimposition, DVB-compliant NIT (Carrier ID) generation, and simultaneous media archiving via file transfer.
