FOR-A ifCalib2 is an advanced camera calibration software solution designed to bridge physical studio cameras with real-time 3D graphics rendering engines. By calculating exact optical focal lengths, sensor spatial offsets, and lens distortion parameters, ifCalib2 ensures perfect alignment and scale matching between real-world video signals and virtual environments across green-screen virtual studios, augmented reality (AR) broadcasts, and XR stages.
Advanced Matrix Data Processing & Multi-System Playout
Built around a flexible data input/output matrix, ifCalib2 allows operators to combine multiple sensor feeds and route calibrated tracking data to up to 4 independent system outputs simultaneously. The software allows fine-tuning of Field of View (FOV) parameters, positional XYZ offsets, and rotational values before re-broadcasting the refined stream over UDP Ethernet networks or RS-422 serial connections.
Dual-Module Architecture & Post-Production Logging
The software operates on a dual-license architecture comprising ifCalib2 Proc for background data processing and high-throughput routing, and ifCalib2 Cont for user interface setup, scene configuration, and calibration adjustments. For hybrid live-to-tape and post-production workflows, ifCalib2 logs raw sensor tracking data with embedded broadcast timecodes, giving visual effects teams frame-accurate tracking data for offline post-rendering.
