Advanced Lens Matching & Automatic Alignment Algorithms
The software delivers frame-accurate lens calibration by calculating field of view, entrance pupil (nodal point) shifts, depth of field, and depth-based defocusing during zoom and focus moves. For rapid setup on location, ifCalibSTD incorporates automated position and angle calculation algorithms that determine exact camera offsets using only a few physical reference marker points, drastically reducing prep time in sports arenas and golf courses.
Dual-License Setup & Multi-Instance Management
To support scaled broadcast infrastructure, ifCalibSTD operates on a two-tier licensing model: ifCalibSTD Proc serves as the core rendering plug-in engine within Brainstorm eStudio, while ifCalibSTD Cont provides the standalone graphical interface license. Operators can open multiple control instances across different studio stations to adjust timing delays, aspect ratios, and position offsets across three coordinate systems concurrently.
