Product Overview +
Enterprise LTO-9 Media Archiving Server
The FOR-A LTS-90 is a standalone LTO-9 server engineered for broadcast facilities, post-production suites, and digital asset managers requiring high-capacity, long-term storage for 4K/HD video feeds and project files. Equipped with an LTO-9 drive mechanism, the unit accommodates up to 18 TB of uncompressed media per cartridge at transfer rates up to 300 MB/s (2.4 Gbps), providing a reliable, cost-effective solution for archival storage and disaster recovery.
Intelligent Proxy Workflow & Partial File Retrieval
Designed specifically for broadcast media workflows, the LTS-90 automatically indexes incoming video files, tagging metadata and optionally generating proxy files (up to HD resolution in multiple codecs) and visual thumbnails. Built-in partial retrieval functionality allows users to extract specific timecode-marked sections of large video files directly from LTO tape without having to restore the full file, saving operational time and local network bandwidth.
Flexible Network Ingestion & Dual-Copy Security
The LTS-90 functions as a network-attached archive server, accepting file transfers over local network FTP connections or directly via USB 3.0 storage drives and NAS devices. For enhanced data redundancy, the server can write media files simultaneously to an LTO tape and a secondary USB HDD or NAS path, running automatic post-copy verification checks to ensure data integrity across both primary and secondary backup sets.
