FOR-A MARK is an on-premises Media Asset Management (MAM) software solution designed for broadcast stations, mobile OB vans, post-production houses, and corporate video environments. Combining a robust management engine with an intuitive, browser-based UI, MARK allows authorized users across an organization's intranet to upload, search, tag, browse, and retrieve high-resolution media assets from PCs, Macs, tablets, or mobile devices without installing client-side software.

Automated Ingestion & Multi-Tier Storage Architecture

MARK unifies multi-tiered storage environments, bridging fast production online storage with LTFS-based LTO tape archives (such as the FOR-A LTS series). The software features automated watch folder ingestion across local and remote SMB network paths, executing server-side file transfers and automated media transcoding into unified corporate delivery codecs. Built-in metadata tagging, segment extraction, and granular role-based security ensure assets remain secure, searchable, and instantly accessible.

Turnkey Production & Insight Switcher/Playout Workflow

Specifically optimized for live broadcast and mobile production environments, MARK integrates deeply with FOR-A Insight 4-channel studio playout servers. Live footage ingested by Insight can be transferred directly into MARK for real-time tagging and LTFS archive transfer, while production staff can instantly push curated clips back to Insight channels for live playback—delivering a unified ingest, archive, and playout ecosystem.
