Product Overview +
World-Leading 8K Frame Rate Conversion
The FOR-A MCC-8K is an expert-grade 8K/12G-SDI motion-compensated standards converter developed in partnership with InSync Technology. Designed for international sports broadcasting, global events, and high-end contribution links, the MCC-8K performs real-time frame rate transformations (such as 50Hz to 59.94Hz or 59.94Hz to 50Hz) on native 8K 4320p content. Utilizing advanced motion-estimation algorithms refined over two decades, it maintains high image detail and smooth motion handling without judder or blur.
Flexible 8K/4K Video Signal Architecture
Built to support 8K Ultra HD environments, the unit accepts and delivers 8K Quad Link 12G-SDI connections via 4x BNC inputs and 4x BNC outputs. It features automatic input detection for SMPTE ST 2082-12 2SI signal mapping and BT.2020 color space pass-through. For stream verification on standard monitoring equipment, the MCC-8K provides an independent Single Link 12G-SDI 4K down-converted output alongside an integrated front-panel confidence display.
32-Channel Audio Processing & Broadcast Control
To ensure synchronized audio-video delivery, the processor manages up to 32 channels of embedded PCM audio. It automatically matches audio delay to the video processing pipeline while offering precise gain control, channel remapping, and test signal generation. Facilities can monitor and adjust settings locally using front-panel shortcut buttons and screens, or manage operations remotely through a built-in web browser GUI connected over Gigabit Ethernet.
