The FOR-A MCC-HD (single channel) and MCC-HD2 (dual channel) are high-performance frame rate and format converters engineered for international live sports, global news feeds, and cross-border broadcast distribution. Built with advanced motion estimation and compensation algorithms, the MCC-HD series eliminates judder and motion artifacts when converting high-motion 3G-SDI and HD-SDI video feeds across varying international broadcast standards (such as 50Hz to 59.94Hz or 23.98p to 60p).

HDR, WCG, and Custom 3D LUT Management

Designed for modern broadcast workflows, the MCC-HD/MCC-HD2 seamlessly manages High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) color spaces. It automatically detects incoming ITU-R BT.2020 colorimetry and SMPTE ST 425-5 2SI signals. The unit handles conversions between SDR, HLG, PQ, and S-Log3 formats using onboard presets or custom user-uploaded 3D LUTs, ensuring accurate color rendering across mixed-format productions.

Advanced Audio Sync & ST 2110 IP Workflows

To maintain lip-sync alignment during complex frame-rate transformations, the processor automatically calculates video processing delay and applies a matching delay across 16 channels of embedded audio. A built-in front-panel confidence monitor provides real-time video verification, including quadrant monitoring for square-division feeds. For hybrid facilities, the unit offers optional SMPTE ST 2110 IP connectivity and optional closed caption/timecode pass-through support.
