The FOR-A MV-1200 / MV-1210 / MV-1220 Series offers space-efficient 1RU multiformat multi viewers designed for broadcast editing suites, master control rooms, flypacks, and mobile OB units. Capable of handling up to 16 inputs and up to 7 display outputs, the series processes asynchronous signals across 3G-SDI (Level-A/B), HD/SD-SDI, analog composite, HDMI, and DVI formats. Built-in input locking capabilities enable internal frame synchronization across mixed signal types without requiring external reference genlock signals.

Model Lineup & Modular Option Expansion

The MV-1200 series provides three standard base units to align with specific studio connector preferences. The MV-1200 starts with 4 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output, the MV-1210 starts with 4 SDI inputs and 1 SDI output, and the MV-1220 offers 8 SDI inputs, 2 SDI outputs, and 1 HDMI output standard. Input and output density can be expanded using optional MV-12SDI (SDI/Composite), MV-12PCI (DVI/HDMI), MV-12SDO (SDI output), MV-12PCO (HDMI 4K output), MV-12EXP, and MV-12IF (GPIO/Serial/LTC/Genlock) option cards.

Layout Management & Advanced Signal Diagnostics

Using Windows-based Layout Manager software, operators can build and store up to 16 preset window patterns each for 4K and 2K monitoring modes, with instant recall available from the front panel. On-screen features include 16-channel embedded audio level display, audio monitoring outputs, custom logo imports, tally, timecode, and scheduled timers. For system troubleshooting, the unit actively detects frozen frames and signal errors, displaying visual flashing borders, error logs, and streaming video feeds over Ethernet for remote browser monitoring.
