The FOR-A MV-1620HSA is a high-performance, 1RU multiformat multi viewer designed for live broadcast production, studio control rooms, flypacks, and mobile OB trucks. Supporting up to 16 input channels of mixed 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, SD-SDI, and analog composite video, the unit delivers robust signal distribution with low power consumption. It also allows operators to edit and view a single 4K UHD image compiled from four 3G-SDI input feeds, ensuring smooth monitoring integration across both HD and 4K production environments.
Dual Output & Low-Latency Cascading
Engineered for scale, the MV-1620HSA supports dual-screen independent output with the addition of the optional MV-1620DO card. Across two output channels, users can display up to 20 windows, 4 clocks, and customized logos and background graphics. For high-density broadcast environments, up to four MV-1620HSA units can be cascaded together to monitor up to 64 sources at once, maintaining visual synchronization with a negligible sync-signal latency of just 6 microseconds.
Advanced Layout Management & Error Detection
Using Windows-based Layout Manager software, operators can easily configure display sizes, window placements, title areas, and tally indicators. The MV-1620HSA features an extensive on-screen toolkit including multi-channel audio level display (vertical or horizontal meters), audio monitoring output, AFD-compatible video cropping, closed captioning detection, timecode, and scheduled timers. Built-in error detection algorithms instantly highlight screen anomalies, trigger visual warnings, and log diagnostic alerts for fast troubleshooting.
