Product Overview +
Next-Generation Media-over-IP Multi Viewing
The FOR-A MV-3240IP is a high-density 1RU IP multi viewer designed for live production, broadcast master control, and hybrid facilities transitioning to Media-over-IP (MoIP) ecosystems. Capable of handling up to 32 uncompressed IP HD video inputs or up to 8 uncompressed 4K IP streams, the frame supports SMPTE ST 2110-10/20/30/40 and ST 2022-6/7 hitless redundancy. Dual SFP28 interfaces accommodate 10 GbE and 25 GbE network topologies, ensuring smooth integration with modern IP routing structures.
Hybrid Signal Processing & Versatile Window Management
Engineered to bridge legacy SDI workflows with modern IP networks, the MV-3240IP outputs up to 4 IP HD streams while providing baseband SDI (12G-SDI / 3G-SDI) and HDMI monitoring outputs. Using Windows-based Layout Manager software, operators can freely arrange up to 25 windows on a 4K display or up to 40 windows across four 2K screens. On-screen capabilities include multi-channel embedded audio level display, tally indicators, custom graphic logos, timecode, 30-hour schedule clocks, and cascading expansion with MV-1640IP units.
Broadcast Network Control & Advanced Diagnostics
Built for enterprise network control, the MV-3240IP natively supports NMOS IS-04 stream registration, NMOS IS-05 connection management, and Ember+ control protocols. System health and network telemetry—including PTP synchronization status, SFP transceiver diagnostics, and IP-to-SDI conversion results—are continuously monitored via SNMP. Integrated frozen frame detection and visual error alerts trigger instantly, while an auxiliary M-JPEG stream allows remote web browser monitoring and PC pre-alarm recording.
