Product Overview +

SDI Digital Audio De-Embedding

The FOR-A USF-1013DEMUX is a dedicated digital audio demultiplexer module engineered for FOR-A USF series universal system frames. Supporting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI formats, the module extracts embedded digital audio from an incoming SDI program feed and outputs the demultiplexed audio as discrete AES/EBU signals via rear panel BNC connections.

Signal Processing & Flexible Auxiliary I/O

Beyond simple audio extraction, the USF-1013DEMUX incorporates internal digital signal processing for gain adjustments across audio channels. The board features an auxiliary BNC port that can be configured via software control to accept either Longitudinal Timecode (LTC) for system synchronization or an additional AES/EBU input (channels 7/8).

USF Frame Integration & Remote Health Monitoring

Designed for high-density broadcast environments, the module operates within 1RU (USF-105AS) or 2RU (USF-212BS) frame chassis, utilizing redundant power paths. Operational status, signal lock, and parameter settings can be monitored remotely via SNMP protocols or through the USF frame's graphical management interface.
