Product Overview +
Broadcast 3G/HD/SD-SDI Digital Audio De-embedding
The FOR-A USF-1013DEMUX is a high-performance digital audio demultiplexer (de-embedder) card engineered for installation in FOR-A USF series universal system mainframes. Built for master control suites, audio mixing rooms, and mobile OB broadcast vehicles, the card extracts embedded digital audio signals directly from incoming 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, or SD-SDI video streams, outputting them as discrete AES/EBU digital audio feeds for external routing, processing, or monitoring.
Comprehensive Audio Calibration & Timecode Support
Designed to streamline live production workflows, the USF-1013DEMUX provides fine-grained audio control. Operators can adjust gain levels on individual audio channels across both input and output stages to achieve optimal signal balance. The module also features a versatile auxiliary port that can be configured to output LTC timecode extracted from the SDI stream or to carry AES audio channels 7/8.
Modular Mainframe Integration & Remote Control
Engineered for continuous 24/7 broadcast operation, the USF-1013DEMUX allows video feeds to pass through cleanly to downstream equipment while extracting full 24-bit digital audio. System engineers can track operational health, video lock status, and embedded audio presence remotely via standard SNMP network management interfaces across compatible USF enclosures.
