Broadcast 3G/HD/SD-SDI Digital Audio Embedding
The FOR-A USF-1013MUX is a high-performance digital audio multiplexer (embedder) card engineered for installation in FOR-A USF series universal system mainframes. Built for master control rooms, post-production suites, and live OB trucks, the module integrates external digital audio feeds into 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, or SD-SDI video streams, streamlining signal distribution and cable routing across facility workflows.
Comprehensive Audio Processing & Timecode Integration
Equipped to handle up to 8 channels (4 AES/EBU pairs) of digital audio, the USF-1013MUX features an onboard Sample Rate Converter (SRC) on its AES/EBU inputs to automatically lock asynchronous digital audio to the SDI video clock. Operators benefit from gain control on audio inputs and outputs for precise signal level matching. Additionally, the card features a versatile input port selectable between LTC timecode insertion or AES input channels 7/8.
Compact Mainframe Integration & Remote Control
Designed for high-density deployment, the USF-1013MUX fits cleanly into FOR-A USF-212BS and USF-105AS modular enclosures. System engineers can track card operational status, signal presence, and board diagnostics remotely across facility management networks via standard SNMP integration.
