Product Overview +

Compact Analog Video & Reference Signal Distribution

The FOR-A USF-1040VEA is a compact 4-output analog video distribution amplifier module designed for broadcast control rooms, post-production suites, and mobile OB vans. Built to fit into FOR-A USF series frame enclosures, this module takes a single incoming analog video or timing signal and splits it into 4 isolated, high-grade outputs, providing reliable distribution for monitoring feeds and reference distribution networks.

Optimized Sync Handling & Cable Equalization

Engineered to process critical facility timing signals, the USF-1040VEA handles both Standard Definition Black Burst (BB) and High Definition Tri-Level Sync reference signals. To maintain signal sharpness and amplitude accuracy over long coaxial cable distances, the card incorporates adjustable cable equalization to restore high-frequency response and eliminate signal degradation.

Loop-Through Connectivity & Remote Administration

The USF-1040VEA includes a passive loop-through pass-through input, allowing the primary signal to be tapped inline without consuming an extra active distribution port. When housed within network-enabled USF frame enclosures, broadcast engineers can monitor module diagnostics, signal lock detection, and system health remotely via a web browser interface or centralized SNMP monitoring tools.
