The FOR-A USF-1043FS is a multi-rate 3G/HD/SD-SDI frame synchronizer module engineered for installation in FOR-A USF series universal system mainframes. Designed for master control rooms, production switchers, and live contribution lines, the USF-1043FS synchronizes asynchronous incoming video feeds to facility reference signals, correcting timing errors and eliminating frame glitches during live broadcasts.
Dual-Input Routing & 4-Way Signal Distribution
Equipped with 2 selectable SDI input ports, the USF-1043FS acts as a clean source selector and distribution amplifier. Once a source is selected and phase-aligned, the module distributes the clean, re-clocked signal across 4 isolated output ports, eliminating the need for standalone distribution amplifiers downstream.
Advanced Audio & Video Signal Conditioning
The module incorporates a full-featured video processing suite including Proc Amp adjustments (luminance, chroma, setup), video clipping, manual frame delay, and manual freeze modes. Its robust 16-channel embedded audio engine provides sample rate conversion (SRC), per-channel delay compensation up to 1,000 ms to resolve lip-sync errors, flexible channel matrix remapping, stereo downmixing for linear PCM, and automatic error-triggered audio muting.
