High-Density 3G/HD/SD-SDI Frame Synchronization
The FOR-A USF-1043FS is a modular frame synchronizer card designed for USF-series frame enclosures, providing multi-format video stabilization for broadcast facilities, live production racks, and mobile OB units. Supporting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI formats, the USF-1043FS locks incoming asynchronous SDI signals to an external genlock reference to maintain timing alignment across system infrastructures.
Integrated 2x1 Switching & 1x4 Signal Distribution
Featuring dual SDI inputs, the USF-1043FS allows operators to select between two source feeds with seamless video and audio switching. The processed output is internally split across four separate BNC distribution ports, eliminating the need for standalone distribution amplifiers downstream. Video processing features include a Proc Amp for luminance and color level adjustment, video clipping, frame delay compensation, and video freeze capability.
16-Channel Audio Remapping & Network Control
The module processes up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio and includes Sample Rate Converters (SRC) to accommodate asynchronous audio sources. Each audio channel can be individually delayed up to 1,000 ms, remapped, and down-mixed for stereo or mono feeds. Automatic audio muting protects downstream systems during signal loss or corruption. Network managers can track system status, alarms, and card health via SNMP, or connect an optional FA-10RU remote panel for dedicated hardware operation.
