Multi-Functional SDI Distribution & Failover Protection

The FOR-A USF-1043VM is a versatile 3G/HD/SD-SDI video distribution amplifier card equipped with an integrated change-over failover switch. Designed for FOR-A USF series universal system mainframes, the module provides critical line redundancy and signal distribution for broadcast control rooms, satellite uplink stations, and automated playout facilities.

Dual Operational Modes

Engineered for operational flexibility, the USF-1043VM can be deployed in two distinct hardware modes:

1-Input / 4-Output Mode: Functions as a standard 1-in / 4-out distribution amplifier to feed multiple downstream devices from a single source.
2-Input / 2-Output Change-Over Mode: Accepts primary and secondary redundant inputs (of matching format) and provides 2 clean outputs, automatically failing over to the backup line if errors or signal loss occur on the primary feed.

Seamless Switching & Network Management

When configured in change-over mode, the USF-1043VM continuously analyzes incoming 3G/HD/SD-SDI signals and executes a clean switch to maintain continuous transmission. System administrators can track real-time card health, signal status, and error logs remotely via integrated SNMP management tools within the USF mainframe architecture.
