Multi-Format 3G/HD/SD-SDI Signal Distribution
The FOR-A USF-1053DDA is a high-performance digital video distribution amplifier card designed for live production, studio control rooms, and OB trucks. Built as a plug-in module for FOR-A USF modular frame systems, this unit takes a single incoming SDI or DVB-ASI feed and replicates it across 5 identical 75Ω BNC outputs. For higher density distribution requirements, two USF-1053DDA modules can be linked together inside the frame to deliver a 1-input, 10-output configuration.
Built-In Cable Compensation & Re-clocking
To ensure signal stability and eliminate jitter across extensive broadcast infrastructure, the USF-1053DDA incorporates automatic equalization and high-precision re-clocking. The module automatically compensates for high-frequency signal attenuation over coaxial cabling—supporting long cable runs up to 70 meters for 3G-SDI, 100 meters for HD-SDI, and up to 200 meters for SD-SDI feeds.
Flexible Protocol Support & Remote SNMP Monitoring
Accommodating data rates from 270 Mbps SD-SDI up to 3.0 Gbps 3G-SDI, as well as compressed DVB-ASI transport streams, the USF-1053DDA integrates seamlessly into evolving broadcast environments. Broadcast engineers can manage and monitor module operations remotely using SNMP v2c across local IP networks when installed in network-enabled USF frame enclosures.
