Product Overview +
Compact 12G-SDI 4K UHD Synchronization
The FOR-A USF-105FS-12G is a high-density 12G-SDI frame synchronizer module designed for installation in USF-series frame enclosures. Built for 4K Ultra HD broadcast and live event production, it stabilizes and aligns asynchronous 4K signals to an external genlock reference. It handles Single Link 12G-SDI inputs up to 3840x2160 resolution, delivering reliable signal integrity across high-bandwidth infrastructure without adding unnecessary latency.
Built-in 4K Gearbox & Signal Conditioning
Equipped with an internal gearbox function, the USF-105FS-12G easily converts between Single Link 12G-SDI and Quad Link 3G-SDI in both Square Division (SQD) and 2-Sample Interleave (2SI) Level A/B configurations. Each unit includes a complete video processing toolset featuring a Proc Amp, video clipping, frame delay control, and manual video freeze—ensuring full signal compliance before distribution.
Comprehensive 16-Channel Audio & ANC Handling
The module processes up to 16 channels of embedded audio, providing individual channel remapping, linear PCM down-mixing, and up to 1,000 ms of audio delay per channel to maintain precise lip-sync. Built-in Sample Rate Converters (SRC) handle asynchronous 3G/HD-SDI audio sources, while automatic muting protects downstream equipment from signal corruption. H/V ancillary data pass-through maintains critical metadata such as time code and closed captioning.
