Product Overview +
Compact 12G-SDI 4K UHD Up/Down Conversion
The FOR-A USF-106UDC-12G is a modular up/down converter card engineered for USF-series frame enclosures. Designed for high-density broadcast facilities, newsrooms, and mobile production trucks, it bridges 4K Ultra HD and 3G/HD-SDI workflows. The module processes single link 12G-SDI up to 3840x2160 resolution, providing seamless up-conversion of HD signals to 4K or down-conversion of 4K feeds to 3G/HD-SDI without signal degradation.
Advanced Signal Mapping & Color Processing
Equipped to handle complex multi-format environments, the USF-106UDC-12G supports Quad Link 3G-SDI in both 2-Sample Interleave (2SI) and Square Division (SQD) formats, with menu-selectable input/output switching. Onboard 3G-SDI Level-A and Level-B cross-conversion guarantees seamless integration between legacy and modern SDI gear. Built-in dynamic range conversion and specialized 4K/HD color processing engines maintain color fidelity and contrast accuracy when converting feeds across formats.
Multi-Mode Synchronization & Network Control
To adapt to time-critical live broadcast applications, the card provides four distinct reference modes: Frame Sync, Line Sync, AVDL, and Minimum Line Sync mode for ultra-low latency setups. It processes up to 16 channels of embedded audio, maintaining audio-video alignment throughout conversion. Network managers can administer card settings using full-featured GUI software or a web browser interface, while SNMP integration enables real-time monitoring of signal status and module diagnostics.
