The FOR-A USF-106UDC-12G is a high-performance video up/downconverter module engineered for installation in FOR-A USF series modular frame mainframes. Designed for live sports production, master control, and OB vans bridging 4K and HD workflows, the card converts high-resolution Single-Link 12G-SDI or Quad-Link 3G-SDI (2SI/SQD) 4K video feeds down to 1080p/1080i HD, or upconverts HD video sources to clean 4K UHD.

Dynamic Range & Color Space Management

Built to address complex high-dynamic-range production demands, the USF-106UDC-12G features integrated dynamic range conversion alongside a professional color processing circuit. This allows operators to seamlessly map SDR (BT.709) sources to HDR (BT.2020 / HLG / PQ) standards or vice versa, ensuring consistent color accuracy across mixed-format live feeds.

Versatile Synchronization & Audio Integration

To ensure ultra-low latency and stable system alignment, the module offers multiple user-selectable synchronization modes: Frame Sync, Line Sync, AVDL, and Line (Min.). Combined with 3G-SDI Level-A/B conversion and 16-channel embedded audio support, the card integrates smoothly into existing broadcast routing environments, with remote parameter configuration managed via web browser or dedicated GUI software.
