The FOR-A VRCAM Series is a real-time virtual set and augmented reality (AR) production system designed for broadcast studios, corporate communication spaces, and educational facilities. Powered by Brainstorm's 3D rendering engine, the VRCAM software allows a single operator to drive multi-camera virtual environments without requiring expensive tracking hardware or modified camera cranes. By simulating fluid camera moves across fixed studio feeds, VRCAM expands small physical green-screen spaces into dynamic, multi-angle virtual sets.
Dual System Lineup: VRCAM-NX2 & VRCAM-Lite
The series offers two tailored solutions based on production scope. The full-featured VRCAM-NX2 supports up to 4 virtual cameras (with 16 preset positions each), dual SDI/NDI input/output, and an optional Unreal Engine plugin for photo-realistic background rendering. For mobile streaming, lower-budget setups, or single-camera productions, VRCAM-Lite delivers a compact, software-only NDI and webcam workflow that can run natively on gaming laptops.
Content Creation, Keying & Flexible Playout
VRCAM eliminates the need for standalone hardware compositors through its software-based chroma keyer, which stores distinct color-keying parameters for each connected camera source. Operators can drag and drop 3D assets, video walls, graphics billboards, and Lower Thirds from the included CG template library to build custom scenes. Live execution is controlled via automated Playlists or interactive Direct Buttons with single-click macro groupings, while supporting external control via GPI or standard USB remote units.
