Precision Internal Patching for Japanese Camera Systems
The Canare OCS015 series hybrid fiber-optic (HFO) receptacle assemblies provide a premium internal bridge solution, acting as a high-durability audio cable and video cable combined into one. Engineered specifically for studios utilizing Japanese-style camera hardware and the Hybrid-OPS connection standard, this 1.5-meter pigtail kit creates a clean, permanent link between outer terminal wall plates and internal rack-mounted optical splice enclosures. This specialized design keeps your hidden backend cable trays perfectly structured and easy to maintain.
Combined Audio, Video, and Auxiliary Power Convergence
This hybrid assembly merges different broadcast lines into a single connection point. Its glass fiber cores carry uncompressed HD/4K/8K camera video channels alongside live return viewfinder feeds. Concurrently, the heavy insulated copper lines handle zero-latency studio intercom talkback networks, program microphone feeds, remote camera shading telemetry, and high-voltage auxiliary electrical current sent straight from the Camera Control Unit (CCU) to run the camera head without local on-set batteries.
Heavy-Duty Structural Isolation
Built to withstand the physical demands of central equipment rooms and mobile production units, the connector housings are precision-machined from high-grade stainless steel to prevent damage from impact or cross-threading. The male configuration (OCS015-MR) includes a convenient, fluid slide-grip mechanism to ensure quick, stable physical locking. Additionally, each kit contains a specialized insulation plate backing that separates the connector body from the metal patch chassis, completely eliminating ground loop hum and video interference.
