Capable of handling resolutions up to 1080p60, the N5 allows you to encode baseband SDI signals into NDI streams or decode incoming NDI sources back to baseband SDI for local monitoring. Its unique support for both NDI High Bandwidth and NDI|HX 2/3 ensures that you can optimize your video quality based on your network's available bandwidth.

Seamless Control and Zero-Latency Switching

Designed for the demands of live production, the N5 eliminates the technical hurdles of source management. In decoding mode, the web-based GUI allows you to preset nine NDI sources for instant switching. This ensures that transitions between feeds occur without the flashing, lagging, or black screens typically associated with IP-to-baseband conversion. For added physical control, users can connect a standard USB keypad to the unit to toggle between sources or even control PTZ camera movements.

Integrated Monitoring and On-Site Intelligence

Stay informed about every aspect of your signal chain with the N5’s built-in 1.14" LCD screen. This display provides real-time data on connectivity, IP addresses, temperature, and tally status, reducing the need for external monitoring tools. Coupled with a large, high-visibility tally light on the front panel, the N5 ensures that both operators and talent are always aware of the live broadcast status (PGM/PVW), making it an ideal choice for multi-camera studio environments.

Redundant Power and Professional Intercom

Reliability and communication are critical in professional broadcast settings. The Kiloview N5 supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), allowing for a single-cable setup that handles both data and power. Alternatively, it can be powered via USB or camera batteries thanks to its wide 5-18V DC input range. To further enhance production coordination, the unit features a voice intercom system that allows for real-time communication between the control room and field operators via standard 3.5mm headsets.
