The Mentor CX Changeover Unit is designed to ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations by providing seamless switching between two Mentor RG sync generators. It acts as a redundancy controller that maintains signal continuity in mission-critical environments such as live broadcasting and production facilities.

Purpose and Function

The primary function of the Mentor CX is to monitor two independent sync sources and automatically switch to a backup source if the primary one fails. This helps prevent signal loss and ensures consistent timing across broadcast systems.
