By using a specialized thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) outer jacket compound, these cables offer extreme protection against heavy friction and impacts while remaining loose, supple, and easy to wrap in freezing field temperatures.

Operating under the strict parameters of the global SMPTE ST 311 standard, this hybrid cabling consolidates your entire production umbilical infrastructure. Its internal single-mode optical fibers carry flawless, uncompressed Ultra-HD video trunk feeds and return viewfinder lines. At the same time, the specialized internal copper bundles securely transport multi-channel studio intercom/talkback communications, microphone feeds, remote camera shading telemetry, tally metadata, and high-voltage electrical current to run the camera head without needing local batteries on set.

High-Tension Structural Engineering for Severe Field Abuse

When pulling cable lines across rocky terrain, stadium rafters, or busy public tracks, structural damage from tension or kinking is an expensive risk. The standard 9.2mm version (LF-2SM9T) utilizes internal strength members to withstand an incredible 1500N of pulling tension, alongside an ultra-tight 9.2mm bend radius that completely avoids fiber fracturing. For fast, mobile setups, the 7.1mm slim version (LF-2SM7T) cuts total line weight down to an agile 5.5kg per 100 meters, providing rapid-deployment crews with a durable, easy-to-carry solution.

Note: Due to the thinner copper power lines inside the slim 7.1mm (LF-2SM7T) profile, its auxiliary electrical transmission distance is limited to approximately 30% of a standard 9.2mm broadcast cable, making it best for field runs up to 200 meters.
