Overview

The Neumann KH 805 II is a next-generation active DSP studio subwoofer engineered for medium-sized professional studios requiring powerful, precise, and exceptionally low-distortion bass reproduction. Featuring a newly developed 10-inch long-throw driver with Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFF™) technology, the KH 805 II extends low-frequency performance down to 16 Hz while delivering approximately twice the output capability of the KH 750 DSP. It is the ideal low-frequency companion for Neumann KH Series studio monitors in recording, broadcast, post-production, and immersive audio environments.

Performance / Features

The KH 805 II combines a high-excursion 10-inch woofer with a powerful 222 W amplifier, intelligent DSP processing, and advanced protection limiters to maintain exceptionally low distortion even at maximum output levels. Integrated DSP enables flexible stereo bass management, seamless MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment compatibility, and optimized crossover, phase, and room response. Analog and digital I/O, Ethernet control, and multiple operating modes provide outstanding flexibility for both stereo and multichannel monitoring systems.

The KH 805 II is ideal for professional recording studios, television and radio broadcast facilities, post-production suites, mastering rooms, film mixing stages, Dolby Atmos® and immersive audio installations, and other critical listening environments. It integrates seamlessly with Neumann KH Series monitors using balanced analog XLR, AES3/S/PDIF digital connections, Ethernet networking, and MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment.
