The Neumann KH 870 II is the flagship active DSP studio subwoofer in the KH Series, engineered for professional studios, broadcast facilities, and immersive audio environments requiring maximum low-frequency accuracy and output. Equipped with dual 10-inch long-throw woofers featuring Extremely Linear Force Factor (ELFF™) technology, it delivers powerful bass extension down to 16 Hz with exceptionally low distortion. Designed as the perfect companion for Neumann midfield monitors such as the KH 420, the KH 870 II is ideal for large control rooms and critical monitoring applications.

Performance / Features

The KH 870 II incorporates a powerful 360 W Class-D amplifier and high-resolution DSP processing to provide flexible bass management for stereo, surround, and immersive audio systems up to 7.1.4. Integrated DSP enables precise crossover management, phase optimization, and full compatibility with Neumann's MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system. Compared to the KH 810 II, it delivers approximately twice the acoustic output while maintaining exceptionally low distortion at reference listening levels. Analog and digital outputs allow connection of up to 11 studio monitors, making it suitable for complex professional monitoring installations.
